Entertainment Design

Introduction
The Themed Entertainment Design Track builds on a strong foundation in drawing, design, and visual development—shared with the Concept Design track—giving students the essential tools used across the entertainment industry. After gaining experience in concept design fundamentals, students specialize in the design of location-based experiences, preparing for careers in theme parks, immersive installations, experiential spaces and live event design for concerts, premieres, and branded experiences.
The curriculum guides students from core skills in visual storytelling, world building, and fabrication into the theory, planning, and execution of physical and interactive environments. Students develop fluency in industry-standard software such as Blender, ZBrush, and Unreal Engine, while learning to create compelling guest experiences through courses like Themed Entertainment Design I & II, and elective options like Haunt Design 101. With a strong focus on storytelling, production pipelines, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, graduates are prepared to bring immersive worlds to life in the evolving field of themed entertainment.
