Net Price Calculator

The Net Price Calculator is a free online tool required by the federal government to help prospective undergraduate students estimate the cost of attending college after grants and scholarships are applied. By entering basic financial information, you are supposed to receive an estimate of your educational costs.

Please note that the calculator is intended as a planning tool only and is not a guarantee of financial aid or scholarship eligibility. Results are based on the information provided and use financial aid data that may be up to two years old.

At Laguna College of Art + Design (LCAD), merit scholarships are awarded based on the strength of a student’s portfolio submitted during the admissions process. Because these portfolio-based awards are reviewed individually by an admissions committee, rather than determined by standardized metrics such as ACT or SAT scores, they cannot be fully reflected in the calculator. As a result, the estimated net price may not accurately represent your actual cost of attendance.

For Fall 2025, our tuition is $39,376 annually, or $19,688 per semester based on full time enrollment, before scholarship. The average incoming student received approximately $14,500 per year in merit scholarship support, though awards vary by student.
Tuition is reviewed annually by LCAD’s Board of Trustees and typically increases by approximately 3% each year, along with average merit scholarship awards. LCAD also has the lowest gross tuition of any private AICAD school on the West Coast and one of the lowest among private art and design colleges nationally.
