Game Development

Bachelor of Fine Arts
in Game Development
Built on What the Industry Needs
The BFA in Game Development offers an immersive, four-year curriculum where students build the skills necessary to thrive in fast-paced creative industries. Students choose one of two tracks to focus their training: Game Art or Game Design. Under the guidance of industry-experienced faculty, students gain hands-on experience creating both the visual and interactive elements of games, designing new features and mechanics, and working efficiently on teams, building a robust portfolio in state-of-the-art facilities that culminates in an individual Capstone project.
Students who choose Game Art specialize in environment design, character design, concept art, and VFX, building traditional and digital art skills with industry-standard tools under faculty with extensive game industry experience. Students who choose Game Design focus on mechanics and systems design, user experience, level design, and technical scripting, developing player-centered gameplay and prototyping in multiple game engines, along with hands-on experience in production, documentation, and team leadership.
