As a student of LCAD, you will immerse yourself in a truly coveted existence. At dawn, you may take a leisurely stroll on one of Laguna Beach’s numerous postcard-perfect coves, or surf the world-class waves of Trestles, or ride white circle to double-black-diamond mountain bike trails in Laguna Canyon, or skate one of many local skate parks. You will spend your days in modern studios with talented, like-minded peers, world-class instructors, and visiting lecturers who will challenge you and support your artistic growth. You may intern with Nike, Blizzard, VANS, Hurley, or the Cartoon Network. You’ll attend concerts with your favorite bands and see works of art from the world’s greatest artists at some of the nation’s most heralded museums and galleries. Put simply, LCAD is where you will live your dreams.
Laguna Beach
Laguna Beach is known for its many world-class artists, festivals, art galleries, and beaches. With more than 20,000 acres of protected wilderness, Laguna Beach attracts hikers, bikers, bird watchers, backpackers, and landscape painters to its dramatic cliffs, verdant hills and marine sanctuaries. There are many popular surf and dive spots along our beautiful coastline. Laguna Beach is active and beautiful year-round.

All the great bastions of shopping, nightlife, entertainment and art are nearby. Whether you’re watching a hockey game at the Honda Center, catching a foul ball at Angel Stadium, riding Space Mountain at Disneyland, spending a day at the Getty Museum, window shopping at the Irvine Spectrum, or just getting a tan at the beach, you have many options in the Southern California area.
