Entertainment Design

Introduction
The Concept Development Track develops student expertise in production design and visual storytelling, while building fluency with industry-standard tools and workflows. This track prepares students to translate imaginative concepts into the visual assets that guide production teams. As they progress into upper-division coursework, students deepen their visual storytelling and design capabilities through advanced world-building and 3D courses. They also gain hands-on experience in advanced fabrication, constructing miniature practical sets commonly used in stop motion animation. The curriculum supports students in visualizing and building rich, cinematic worlds for film, television, and feature animation.
