Entertainment Design
Introduction
LCAD’s BFA in Entertainment Design equips students to master the art of world-building through storytelling, design thinking, and cutting-edge technology. Grounded in traditional drawing, painting, and sculpture, students begin with a strong foundation in visual communication before advancing into industry-standard 3D tools such as Blender, ZBrush, and Unreal Engine.
The program offers two specialized tracks—Concept Development and Themed Design—allowing students to tailor their education toward cinematic production or immersive physical experiences. Across both tracks, students develop the artistic vision and technical expertise to create compelling visual narratives that serve as the blueprint for films, animation, and themed environments. With an emphasis on professional pipelines and cross-disciplinary collaboration, graduates are prepared to thrive as creative contributors in the evolving entertainment industry.
About the program
As an Entertainment Designer, you will create realities and experiences that excite minds and stir imaginations. You will do this by combining art and technology to create themed events, live shows, museum exhibitions, themed restaurants and parks, TV and film productions, and much more.
