LCAD Dual Enrollment

What Is Dual Enrollment?
Dual Enrollment lets you dive into real college-level art and design classes while you’re still in high school. You earn both high school and college credit at the same time, giving you a serious head start on your creative future.

Cost + Credit
Take 3-unit undergraduate art and design courses at a deeply reduced cost, about $1,200 instead of $5,070. Even better, many high schools and districts offer programs to help cover tuition, so be sure to check what support is available to you.

Location & Class Format
Learn your way. Courses are offered in person during evenings and weekends, as well as online in both synchronous (live) and asynchronous (on your own time) formats, making it easy to fit college classes into your schedule.

Eligibility
Dual Enrollment is open to high school juniors and seniors. You’ll need approval from your high school counselor, submit the Dual Enrollment Approval Form, and you can enroll in up to two Dual Enrollment courses per semester.
