Define Your Purpose
Painting
An Artist’s Statement is required, 300-500 words maximum.
Submit Your Application
Along with your application you will need the following:
Transcripts
An official final transcript. If currently enrolled, official in-progress transcripts may be sent.

An outline of your educational, professional, and work-related experiences.
Letters of Recommendation
Letters of Recommendation are optional but recommended.
Application Dates
LCAD has a rolling admissions policy and will accept applications until we’ve filled all spots for an incoming class. Applications will still be considered after the following priority dates:
Painting MFA
Fall: December 1st
Spring: December 1st
Applicants/student must have a Bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 GPA from an institution accredited by an appropriate regional accrediting body.
