Pegah Samaie

Mentor

Pegah Samaie, an Amerian_Iranian realistic artist, who was born and grew up in Iran, and now, she lives in U.S. Samaie’s art represents her freedom. Today, given the power of liberty she has in U.S., she reflects on women’s identity, religion, and politics and how those silos empower women to define their freedom. Her paintings are not just windows; they are her communication to the outside world. They reflect the inspiration that brings hope for the women who have lost their liberty and identity in places where there is little freedom. “Painting is a way of expressing my experiences to the outside world, and the emotions of love, passion, and hope”. She has participated in several group and solo exhibitions including 33 Contemporary in Chicago, IL, Abend Gallery in Denver, and Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art, Wausau, WI. Her work has been featured in American Art Collector and Poets&Artists Magazine. She was also a finalist in the Art Renewal Center’s 13th&14th&15th&a16th Annual International Salon Competition. She has also exhibited at the Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach since 2019. Her work is both nationally and internationally collected. Samaie now works and teaches at her home studio in Mission Viejo.
