SUBVERSIVE ENCRYPTIONS

The LCAD Gallery is proud to present Subversive Encryptions: The Manuscripts of Gonza Spalato, a selection of rediscovered manuscript folios attributed to the enigmatic Renaissance figure Gonza Spalato. His visionary works blur the boundaries between history, mythology, and imagination, offering a rare glimpse into this mysterious and metaphysical world.

The exhibition also features original works by contemporary calligraphic, typography, artist Peter Greco, known for his handcrafted lettering, iconic Hollywood logos, and large-scale calligraffiti. Bridging ancient script with contemporary street culture, Greco’s designs include logos for Warner Bros, NBC, L.A. Times, and the D.A.R.E. campaign as well as iconic movie logos including, Brazil and Splash.
