This showcase brings together a remarkable selection of background paintings, ink drawings, animation cells, and process materials from the Hilbert Museum of California Art’s collection.
We invite you to engage with these works as essential components of the larger, dynamic creative process. The vibrancy, energy, and spirit of these animated worlds are made all the more powerful when seen in the context of their creation. Featuring artwork from Hanna Barbera, Walt Disney, Warner Bros, and beyond.
