holidays.

The holidays are great… and at the same time, are kinda tough. finding out limits almost. about how much you can tolerate from people, and about missing others.  Last post, i said i would discuss some reading. and i will. bit by bit. its time consuming to make illustrations to go along with the material i want to share, even if it is something quick and half-assed.  “quick” means about 3 hours i think… ugh.  and not even in full color. anyway. im not going in order, of what i... fin. (almost)

2011 is almost over. Let’s punch numbers: I turned 21 in september. I painted a 4 foot square painting. The 4 foot painting I mentioned earlier was a constant trial and error struggle for me. The assignment was for Perin Mahler’s Figure Painting 3... View Article

computers club

I can’ quite remember how I found this blogsite but I do know that after working on my 1/2 life size charcoal figure drawing for so many hours, this site has provided ample visual relief. “A Club for Computers” has .gif animations by Francoise Gamma that entrance me. What is a .gif? Graphics Interchange Format files use the 24-bit  RGB color spectrum and can be a series of frames to create a low-res animated clip (thanks Wikipedia). Basically a short loop using limited color made on a computer interface, a... View Article
