Bio: 

Henry A. Reid is a lecturer and software engineer with international experience. He specializes in artificial intelligence and is a published researcher in this field. His research focuses on neural networks, embodiment, and cognitive science. He is seeking to combine the advances in computing, biology, pedagogy, and philosophy into a coherent model of cognition.

Henry has taught at educational levels from junior high to university. This includes four years of teaching video game programming and design at the Art Institutes and three years of teaching high school English in Ishikawa, Japan through the Jet Programme. He holds a M.S. Intelligent Systems, with Distinction, from the University of Sussex in Brighton, UK.

His body of professional work includes software engineering and consulting for video games, consumer software, and web development. His current technological interests are virtual reality, augmented reality, and database architecture.
