MFA Fine Arts Showcases at City Hall

LCAD MFA of Fine Arts students showcase their work at Laguna Beach City Hall

New Year, New Art

This group showcase kicks off 2024 with recent artwork by Master of Fine Arts students from Laguna College of Art + Design. The new year is a time to reflect on how we got here and what lies ahead, as well as the important role of creativity and optimism in all our lives.

“The importance of art in Laguna Beach is on view at city hall. It’s a pleasure to have such support and appreciation in Laguna Beach,” said Peter Zokosky, Chair of the MFA in Drawing and Painting. “With the beginning of a new year, we want to share the dedication, optimism and skill among the Master of Fine Arts students. Many people visit City Hall daily, and they may not expect to have impressive art on display while they conduct important business there. The employees also enjoy the variety of art regularly installed. How many workplaces take the time to change the environment every few weeks? You don’t need an appointment or city business to stop by and enjoy the display.”
