Laguna College of Art and Design’s BFA program in Illustration is proud to present Dave Hobrecht, an exhibition showcasing original works by world-renowned sports artist, Dave Hobrecht.

Hobrecht is known for creating classic black and white sports illustrations that invite viewers to relive the exhilaration of dramatic moments in sports history. The exhibition will feature original works executed in Hobrecht’s innovative charcoal and pastel method that showcases Hobrecht’s unique angles, clever compositions, and timeless hyperrealism.

Hobrecht’s commissions include: Oscar De La Hoya; John Elway; Ferrari; Tony Hawk; LSU (Shaquille O’Neal and more); Willie Mays; Floyd Mayweather; Cal Ripken Jr.; Steiner Sports (Derek Jeter and more); Topps baseball cards; UCLA (Bill Walton); USC; and more.
