Course Credit: 3.0
The students in this course will work individually or in teams to develop a game or game-related project that demonstrates the knowledge and skills learned over the course of their studies. This capstone project may build on previous work from another course or personal project, or it might begin as a new concept all together. Throughout the term, students will engage in research, development, and iterative design, working toward a significant milestone, such as a proof of concept or playable prototype, depending on the needs and scope of their project.
This course emphasizes self-directed work, with students applying what they have learned to bring their vision to life. Regular feedback sessions with instructors, mentors, and peers will guide development of the project.
