How to Apply for BFA
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Your LCAD application process begins when you submit your FREE online application. To make sure you have all of the help you need for completing the admissions process after you submit your application, we will assign you an LCAD Admissions Counselor. Please keep in mind that you do not have to have all application materials ready to begin the application process. At any time, you can log back into your online application to upload materials and check the status of your application.
To ensure you the best LCAD Admissions experience, we encourage you to complete the entire admissions application process:
- Submit your FREE online application.
- Submit all transcript(s)
- Submit your portfolio and your essay by your priority date.
APPLICATION DATES
While many schools have a “hard” deadline for applications (meaning they won’t accept applications postmarked or received after the deadline), LCAD has a rolling admissions policy, which means that we accept applications until we’ve filled all spots in an incoming class.
Applications will still be considered after the following priority dates:
Fall Early Action
Incoming Freshmen: December 1st
Transfer Students: December 1st
Spring Early Action
Incoming Freshmen: December 1st
