The Graphic Design program at LCAD offers an intensely creative, digitally superior, and professionally relevant educational experience. Our focus is on developing students who will become leaders in many industries by being creative, abstract thinkers and critical problem solvers.

As the design industry advances with the rapid increase in technology, creativity remains our most important resource. A solid understanding of form, typography, content, hierarchy, symbolism, experience, expression, ideation, and aesthetics are the cornerstones of the LCAD graphic design program. LCAD’s Graphic Design students have access to acclaimed, professionally practicing faculty who serve as professors and mentors.

A degree in Graphic Design from LCAD signifies that you have acquired a strong traditional knowledge of design and a creative command of new media technologies. The BFA prepares students for creative careers in Internet design, interactive and motion design, package design, promotional print design, corporate branding, and identity design. The reputation of LCAD’s Graphic Design program has cultivated exclusive entry into the professional design community. More than 90 percent of our recent graduates work in their chosen fields, with over half finding employment through the school prior to graduation.
